Description:
A mushroom stool inspired by traditional stools of Africa. The word “Thuthu” is a short version of the word mushroom in Setswana.
In the striped version, the Thuthu stool has hand painted black stripes that are random in thickness. This detail is left entirely to the finishing craftsman. Made from sustainably harvested hardwoods, the Thuthu stool is made to be ecologically, aesthetically and culturally sustainable.
The standard size is ideal as a cafeteria or breakfast table. It is also available in custom sizes for use as a formal dining table or meeting table, with seating capacities in excess of 10 chairs when required. Made from sustainably harvested hardwoods, the Thuthu stool is made to be ecologically, aesthetically and culturally sustainable.
