Description:

The Rothko tray boards pay homage to linear and geometric shapes of Rothko. Each tray has an indent on opposite sides allowing the tray to be used on both sides with no distinct top or bottom.

The indent on the tray in relation to the tray, and individual size trays in relation to the full set of 3 trays, result in interesting geometric proportions.

The Rothko serving boards are particularly ideal as cheese and wine boards, but can also be used as a warm geometric feature on table tops, or as an interesting alternative to the archetypal fruit bowl. Handmade to precise dimensions, the Rothko set is made from sustainable hardwoods and finished with food safe oils by Mabeo craftsmen in Botswana.
