Description:
The Tswana chair is inspired by a local traditional chair, previously reserved for village elders in Botswana.
The traditional construction was minimal by design, as a way of preserving the available wood. Leather cord was selected for the seat, by the craftsmen of the old, as it was an available resource.
Whether used as a visual accent or as item of use, this practical selection and careful use of material is very much applicable in current times.
