Originally designed for Gallery Orsta in Sweden, the Kutu log bench shape follows the shape of the Gallery Orsta building in Kumla Sweden, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune.

The bench is ideal for reception and pause areas, and can also be used as outdoor seating. The Kutu is hand carved from sustainably harvested wood by Mabeo craftsmen through a labour-intensive process. The cracks that develop over time further add to the interesting contrast between the richness of the material and the simplicity of the overall form.
